At Mangatawhiri Childcare, we understand the unique needs of your child. Our commitment is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment for your little one to grow and thrive. Here’s what you need to know about our care services:
We supply wipes for all children, and parents can bring in their preferred nappy rash creams. With diaper changes approximately four times a day, we ensure your child stays comfortable and clean. Simply provide four diapers daily or drop off a bag/box, and we'll keep you informed as they run low.
Having at least two changes of clothes per day is helpful. Wet clothes are placed in a plastic bag in your child's cubby, while soiled ones are double-bagged on the bathroom counter for your convenience.
For your child's safety, please don't leave medicines in their bag. Hand them to a teacher or place them on the resource room bench. Complete our medicine register for permission to administer.
We provide all meals, but if your child has special dietary needs, please hand the items to a teacher to keep them out of reach. No food should be left in bags or cubbies.
For breast milk or cow's milk, hand it to a teacher or place it in the fridge each morning. If your child needs formula, consider using a sectioned container for easy storage.
We offer clean cot sheets and blankets, professionally cleaned weekly. If your child has specific sleep needs, bring their sleep sack, favorite toy, dummy, or blanket.
